Follow us on our journey as we cycle to East Africa from the Brighton, UK in memory of our Late mother who passed away in 2023. She left behind her legacy ‘Alala’ which we are Continuing her work in love and with honour.
This year our projects are located in Ethiopia, Africa; where we will be repairing two boreholes that have broken down which are causing the people to dig into river beds in search of water causing numerous illnesses. We are also building a school in Tanzania for the Maasai people in a region where the children have to cross hundreds of kilometers through the bush which mean many do not attend education until a very late age or none at all.
We love the idea of cycling because its climate friendly and its cost effective. Flights for us both would cost over £2000, we can save that money and use those funds towards helping those that need it most.
