We are excited to announce that we will be returning to Tanzania, this time to help the local people of Simanjiro, one of the six subdistricts of Manyara; which is the village community of the Losokonoi tribe.
This project will be in three parts:
Project (part I) We will be helping this community of Maasai to repair a dam that they had built in the 1990’s that has since collapsed. This has caused both water shortages and contamination for this tribe.
Project (part II) We will also be installing both a tank and an animal trough to store water and allow easy access for the tribe (inc. women and children); as well as for their livestock (inc. donkeys and cattle) that are needed to collect this water.
Project (part III) We will also be bringing food and clothes to ‘The Good Shepherds House’. This is an orphanage in Arusha, Tanzania. This will be in honour of Christineu2019s memory and her many years of work with orphaned children around the world. For us, this is the least we can do to help these children, who have next to nothing.
